Synopsis

Aaron Saturn, the teenage narrator of After Isaac, is just beginning to emerge from mourning the death of his little brother, Isaac. But when his parents decide to adopt a baby, Aaron is sent into a tailspin. He longs for a way to escape his pain, and thinks he’s found one when he meets Kim, a girl living on the streets of&nbsp York City’s East Village. Helped by his witty and loyal best friend, Sam, and his girlfriend, Emma–who has troubles of her own–Aaron learns that running away is not the answer. The only way he can heal is to let love back into his life. Love that will lead him all the way to China.
