Synopsis

The Book Of Rain, by Anthony Weirich, is a series of interconnecting short stories with an overreaching plot and dealing with the themes of Life, Death, and the moments that lies in between the lines of Time.
Rain, the title’s character, is the Deification of the aspect of Death. She is the protector and guide to the young who are lost in the Gray because of hate, violence, fear, illness, self-loathing, and unintended consequences.
She is a Spirit of Vengeance to those who harm the ones’ that cannot protect themselves at the last moments of their lives.
She is a calming companion who helps those who are lost find a path, sometimes assisting them with a knowing nod, an outstretched hand, or a quiet voice of understanding.
Each story and person stands on their own but are part of a grander understanding of what it is to be human and mortal.
The stories inside cover the themes of illness, chemical abuses, violence, grief, domestic violence, suicide, rape, fear, unintended moments, hate, and time.
