Synopsis

It’s 1972 and Rice Channon is a small-town reporter who has a history of sniffing out murderers.

It’s why the cops call him the Ratcatcher. His boss wants to take him off the police beat. His ex-girlfriend wants him to quit calling her. Through it all, the ghosts of the victims haunt his life.

When he investigates the murder of a local atheist activist, everybody seems to want him doing something else. But he won’t stay away from this case. And it just might get him killed.
