About Florence Osmund
After more than three decades in corporate America, Florence Osmund retired to learn the craft of writing literary fiction. She published her first novel at sixty-two—and has not stopped since.
Today, Florence is the author of eight novels, every one of which has earned the B.R.A.G. Medallion. Her stories feature complex characters faced with seemingly impossible situations whose choices reveal who they truly are. Some of her readers describe her characters as lifelong friends and her plots as full of twists no one sees coming. She is also the author of How to Write, Publish, and Promote a Novel where she shares her fiction writing knowledge with other writers and helps them avoid some of the mistakes she made along the way.
Currently, Florence lives on a tranquil lake in northern Illinois where she continues to write literary fiction.
