Synopsis

It’s summer break for Hannah, Wes, and Jamie, but swimming, fishing, and camping aren’t the only adventures in store for them. There’s a prowler in the woods near Turtle Lake and items are mysteriously disappearing. The children are determined to get to the bottom of it and their friends are eager to help. But there are problems in town, too — in fact, life and death problems at the animal shelter — and they can’t be ignored. Surprises abound and friendships grow as the children embark on their latest exciting adventure.
