Synopsis

September 1942: Luftwaffe pilot Karl Deichman must cross the English Channel and bomb the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth even though he knows that his English cousin and best friend is inside the building . . . After the war Karl returns to England haunted by the thought: Did I kill Andrew? His quest leads him into the clutches of a former female secret agent, a wartime spy and an ex-RAF Spitfire pilot who has an incredible story to divulge. As Karl gradually uncovers the secret of the Dartmouth Conspiracy he is drawn into the jaws of a lethal trap. He survives, but more than sixty years will elapse before the final jigsaw piece falls into place. This is a story of adventure and suspense inspired by a real-life event witnessed by the author.
