About Vicky Adin
Vicky Adin writes heart-warming multigenerational family sagas, inspired by early immigrants to New Zealand, in a way that brings the past alive.
Her award-winning novels are recipients of the IndieBRAG medallion, Chill with a Book Readers’ Awards and ‘Gwenna the Welsh Confectioner’ has recently won GOLD in the BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2022 (The Coffee Pot Book Club).
Vicky Adin holds a Master of Arts (Hons) and is fascinated with genealogical research. She is an avid reader in her genres – Women’s historical fiction, women’s literary fiction and dual-timeline fiction. She loves to travel, especially caravanning around New Zealand with her husband and biggest fan; and sharing laughter, great food and good wine with friends and family.
The New Zealand Immigrant Collection is a compilation of six books: the three girls, Brigid, Gwenna and Jane (The Costumier’s Gift) are inextricable. The Cornish Knot saga is concluded in Portrait of a Man, while The Disenchanted Soldier is stand-alone.
