About Tom Huggler
Tom Huggler is a fulltime freelance writer and author of 20 nonfiction books and two novels, including THE WOMAN SHE LEFT BEHIND, released in the Fall of 2025.
A former high school English teacher with B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Michigan, Huggler turned in his gradebooks for a reporter’s notebook in 1982.
His first book was a conservation novel for young readers. He wrote WESTWIND WOODS for his English students; the book went on to sell 15,000 copies. Tom has returned to fiction writing in his later years. THE WOMAN SHE LEFT BEHIND (Sunacumen Press), a historical fiction based on a real-life protagonist, is his newest work.
