About Toby Williams
Toby A. Williams, born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, currently resides in the San Diego area of California with her best friend, who also happens to be her husband of many years. They enjoy travel, golf, helping out in the community and of course, reading and writing.
The BROOKE LYNN Adventures series’ original story, My Lil’ Ladybug Friend, was created as a gift for Toby’s niece and great-niece, and in December 2018, it was published as her first fictional children’s book. The 2nd book in this series, My Lil’ Big Ocean, was published in April 2019. The 3rd book, My Lil’ First School, was published in October 2019. Brilliantly illustrated, the story depicts the first day of school jitters and follows along with Brooke Lynn overcoming her shyness and fears through friendship, a warm smile from the teacher and being brave. The author’s 4th book, My Lil’ New Pup, is due to be released in May 2020 and captures the essence of being responsible with an abandoned puppy.
The BROOKE LYNN Adventures children’s books highlight kindness, sharing, perseverance, friendship and staying positive during life’s “first” experiences. Toby warmly reflects on her mother’s recollection of a kind neighbor, Tasha Tudor (1915-2008, American author & illustrator of children’s literature). While driving by a grazing field, her mother would say, “Look at the cow-cow-moo-caddities. That’s what Tasha Tudor calls cows!”
