
About Terri Evert Karsten
In the southeast corner of Minnesota, beside the Mississippi River, award-winning Terri Karsten teaches high school English by day and writes the rest of the time. With wide-ranging interests in history, travel and the outdoors, Karsten has written dozens of short stories and articles, along with two non-fiction books (From Brick to Bread: Building a backyard oven and Snags and Sawyers: 2000 Miles Down the Arkansas River). She turns to her favorite genre, histocial fiction, in her debut novel, A Mistake of Consequence (2015) which takes readers into the chaotic world of 18th century Colonial America.
