About Tammy Fanning
Tammy Fanning grew up with Midwestern values on the plains of Kansas. During that time she learned some of life’s most valuable lessons from her paternal grandmother. Tammy applied those lessons with some of her own to raising two children. Because of this, she knows how hard it can be to get children interested in reading at a young age. She took the Midwestern values of her grandmother and the experiences of raising children to write children’s picture books that she needed as a young mother. Tammy also collaborates with her youngest son, Ted Fanning, who is an illustrator to capture the child’s visual imagination. There is so much going on in the world that now is a great time to spend reading to young children. Tammy Fanning’s books give parents the tools to do just that.
