About Ron Sisson
Ron Sisson retired after 40 years with General Electric. For the last 20 years of his career, he was a System Engineer with the Mobile Radio Communication Department in Lynchburg, Virginia.
He graduated with BSEE and MSEE degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Prior to attending college, he worked at GE for 10 years as a draftsman and completed their four-year Drafting Apprenticeship Program in Schenectady, NY. He has had a life-long ambition of writing children’s books. Lost on Big Otter River is his first.
He resides in the beachside community of Indialantic, Florida with his wife Madeline, a retired Brevard County elementary school teacher. His three children and three grandchildren continue to reside in Virginia.
