About Rebecca Wallick

Rebecca Wallick is a retired attorney, trail runner, and author currently living with her two Alaskan Malamutes in Idaho’s Salmon River Mountains. Born and raised in the Seattle area, she moved to Idaho in 2005, spending 15 years living in a small, rural mountain community and running trails with her dogs in the Payette National Forest before moving to Vermont in 2021. The author of Growing Up Boeing: The Early Jet Age Through the Eyes of a Test Pilot’s Daughter (2014), she blogs about dogs, nature, and life at Wild Sensibility.com. In late 2024, when unexpected good fortune smiled, Wallick returned to Idaho’s mountains.
