About Melissa Addey
I mainly write historical fiction: I have just completed The Forbidden City series and am about to complete a series set in Morocco and Spain in the 11th century. Next up will be a series set in 70AD in Ancient Rome.
I was the 2016 Leverhulme Trust Writer in Residence at the British Library and winner of the 2019 Novel London award.
I am currently completing a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Surrey.
