About Malcolm Noble
As a young man, Malcolm Noble served in the Hampshire Police, a chapter of his life which provides some background to his crime fiction. He has written thirteen mystery novels following characters from the 1920s through to the 1960s.
Press reviews have emphasised the author’s sense of place and atmosphere, strong characterisation and first rate storytelling. He was voted into the top forty favourite historical novelists for 2013 (Historical Novels Society) and has repeatedly been in the top 20% of authors borrowed from UK libraries
For more than twenty years, Malcolm Noble, ran a bookshop in Market Harborough where he now enjoys retirement. He hosts a weekly Blues hour on his local fm radio station and has published two acclaimed biographies of Blues music .
