About M.K. Tod
In 2004, Mary (M.K.) Tod’s husband was transferred to Hong Kong. In that exotic city with no job and oodles of time, she started a story based loosely on her grandmother’s life. Mary now has six adult novels and soon-to-be two children’s novel to her credit.
M.K. Tod’s award-winning blog, www.awriterofhistory.com, focuses on reading and writing historical fiction. She’s an active member of the historical fiction community and has conducted five unique reader surveys on topics from readers’ habits and social media preferences to favourite historical fiction authors.
Mary is married to her high school sweetheart, has two adult children and three delightful grandchildren. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
