About Loren Walker
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Loren Walker lives in Rhode Island and holds down way too many jobs, including grantwriter, illustrator, non-profit operations director, public relations assistant, and fitness instructor.
She earned a Master of Arts in Literature, focus in poetry, from Rhode Island College. Her poems have appeared in the anthology Routes, Frequency Writers City and Sea, and QU Journal. She workshops new poetry on Wattpad.
In 2016, she dove into the world of publishing through her company Octopus & Elephant Books. Her debut publication, the fantasy-sci-fi novel EKO, was a BRAG Medallion recipient, shortlisted for the Half the World Global Literari Award, and was selected as a Shelf Unbound 2016 Notable Indie.
O & E Books will publish the remainder of the NINE Series in six month intervals; the sequel to EKO, NADI, will be released in March 2017.
