About Leslie A. Susskind

Leslie Aurandt Susskind has worked for years in advertising and marketing and is excited to be living her life-long dream: writing children’s books! A busy mom, Leslie lives with her husband, Bill, and two daughters outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she sometimes cooks without a microwave. In addition to “Wish,” Leslie is the author of the popular manners-themed books: “The Kids’ (and parents’, too!) Book of Good Sportsmanship,” “The Personalized Book of Good Sportsmanship,” “It’s Time for Good Manners!” and “Tabletop Tipsters.” She is also the author of the middle grade/tween-age fantasy novels about the kingdom of Zephram, “The Month of Zephram Mondays” and “The Tale of Time Warp Tuesday,” and she has published the first book in the Abercrombie Family Business Serial, “So you think you babysit monsters!” She is currently at work on “Wednesday when the Rock Field Rang,” the third of the Zephram Tales, and a new time travel romance featuring the civil war Battle of Gettysburg (where, incidentally, she went to college).
