About Kathie McMahon
Kathie McMahon taught elementary school for 32 years, where she composed several school musicals. Kathie also collaborated on many youth theater musicals, receiving four ariZoni awards for Original Music Composition. She is a member of SCBWI and has made presentations at several regional workshops. Mortimer and Me: Moose In Space is the fourth book in the award-winning Mortimer and Me series. Kathie lives in Gilbert, Arizona, where you won’t find any moose, but plenty of snakes, gila monsters, and mountain lions.
