About Jen Blood
Jen Blood is the USA Today-bestselling author of the Erin Solomon mysteries, the Flint K-9 Search and Rescue mysteries, and the rescue-friendly children’s book Maya Picks a Puppy. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Maine, and has run seminars on writing, publishing, and marketing for authors throughout New England. Jen is also a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College, as well as studying canine nutrition through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute.
The Flint K-9 Search and Rescue series represents the intersection of two of Jen’s most enduring passions: animals, and writing. The Darkest Thread is the first novel in the Flint K-9 Search and Rescue series, with the second in the series — Inside the Echo — to be released on January 16, 2018.
