About Jane Taylor Starwood
Jane Taylor Starwood has always loved reading and writing exciting stories. When she retired from a successful editorial career, she took up the writing habit in earnest.
Ms. Starwood’s debut novel, the romantic thriller “Shattered Blue,” won a Best First Book award in RomCon’s Readers’ Crown contest. It also earned excellent reviews from readers and book bloggers, a B.R.A.G. Medallion, a RONÉ Award nomination, and endorsement by Awesome Indies. Her second romantic thriller, “Hunting Ava,” is now available on Amazon.
Not one to limit herself to a single genre, Ms. Starwood writes literary fiction as Lari Jane Taylor. She recently published “Sarah’s Mountain,” a tender tale of love, grief, and healing set in a small town in the Colorado Rockies in the 1950s.
As Lari Starwood, she’s writing two alternate-Earth fantasy series, “The Star Stone” and “Earthaira,” which are slated to be published on Episodic, a serial-fiction app planning to launch in 2019.
The author resides on the North Fork of Long Island, NY, USA, with her husband, David, a retired graphic designer. She wrote a book about the winemaking families of Long Island, “Long Island Wine Country: Award-winning Vineyards of the North Fork and the Hamptons.”
