About Jackie Loxham
Before I began writing adventure stories for children, I like to think I had adventures of my own. Being a copywriter in the travel industry was perfect for someone like me. Someone with a love of words, a fear of settling down and a yen to see the world, especially the sunny bits with the swaying palm trees and sparkling turquoise waters. Over the years, I’ve lived in places as diverse as London, Devon, Bath, Hong Kong, Fort Lauderdale, and Antigua & Barbuda. And while family commitments have now brought me back to the leafy northwest of England, the Ottillee Bottomly books mean I’m still having plenty of seaside adventures!
