About Emily Cotton
Emily Cotton is spending a well-earned crone-hood writing stories drawn from an active life including (but not limited to) service in the US Coast Guard, a couple decades working with homeless/abused women and children while concurrently training working animals, conducting group wilderness trips, designing houses, the occasional speaking/teaching gig on the above topics, and storytelling as a Renaissance re-enactor. Not surprisingly, she enjoys hiking the Sierras and the California coastal hills with her critters, Renaissance Fairs, spending time with grandkids, working with her longsuffering husband of four decades endlessly remodeling their living space, and following/supporting/writing for NGOs that serve survivors of human trafficking in The Philippines, Kenya, Ecuador, and Ukraine.
