About Elizabeth Hutchison Bernard
Elizabeth Hutchison Bernard is an award-winning author of historical fiction. Her in-depth knowledge of plastic surgery lends a unique perspective to her historical thriller THE BEAUTY DOCTOR, set in turn-of-the-century New York City, and her earlier career as a professional musician (as well as her unique family history tied to the ragtime era) informs her second groundbreaking novel, TEMPTATION RAG. A summa cum laude Communications graduate of Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois), Elizabeth served as the Communications Director for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and was Executive Editor of the internationally-subscribed Aesthetic Surgery Journal. She was a primary consultant to the National Cosmetic Network, in partnership with the plastic surgery program of Johns Hopkins University. Since moving to Arizona in 2013, she has devoted herself to being a full-time author. A third historical novel is in the works, with publication expected by mid-2021.
