About Elizabeth A. Estabrooks, MSW
Elizabeth Estabrooks, MSW, is a U.S. Army veteran and retired federal executive who served as Deputy Director of the VA Center for Women Veterans and as Oregon’s first Woman Veterans Coordinator. She holds a B.S. in Gender Studies and Political Science from Eastern Oregon University and an M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University. She has spent nearly three decades in domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy, policy, and training and co-founded the I Am Not Invisible campaign, which has photographed over 4,000 veterans nationwide. She is the author of “Broken in the Stronger Places: From Resilience to Resourcefulness”, a memoir on surviving interpersonal trauma and rebuilding afterward
