About E. R. Barr

E. R. Barr was born in Conor Country, the “Driftless” area of southern Wisconsin that never saw a glacier. In the hauntingly beautiful woods and glens, amid the bluffs above the rivers, Barr learned the stories of the land and discovered his Irish heritage, Americanized, but still tied to the old country. Barr is a Catholic priest and has been a pastor, teacher, principal, college professor, storyteller, theologian, and speaker on all things Celtic. He is an expert on Lewis and Tolkien and speaks throughout the Wisconsin and Illinois area. Barr is the author of The Tales Of Conor Archer series and the paranormal thriller stories, “The Vatican Archives Thrillers. He lives in Rockford, Illinois.
