About Constance Hood
Constance Hood retired from teaching with five filing cabinets of people’s memoirs – tales of war, love, and adventures from an eccentric array of 20th century personalities. Islands of Deception is her latest venture into the past, drawn from a sheaf of her father’s Counter Intelligence Corps notes declassified after a 50 year non-disclosure mandate. Her first historical novel, Off the Tracks: A Beatnik Family Journey was published in 2013.
