Is the whispered family secret true?
For many years Bev Scott waited to explore the rumor that shrouded her family. After winding down a successful thirty-five-year organization consulting career, she began a genealogy journey to learn about her paternal grandparents. She conducted on-line research and visited museums, libraries, historical societies, cemeteries and county courthouses in seven states. Acknowledging the family history provided a compelling but incomplete story, she concluded the story needed to be fictionalized. Thus, Sarah’s Secret: A Western Tale of Betrayal and Forgiveness became her first novel. Her previous writing focused on non-fiction.
