About The REBOOT Series
This trilogy is about a world-wide pandemic and is told through the eyes of boy and girl teenage twins. A deadly virus based on ebola has been created by an unnamed power as a weapon of war. It first appears in the general population in Africa, and there's the suggestion that its release has been deliberate. Northern hemisphere governments take little notice at first (Africa is a long way away!) and by the time they do the virus is already established. Social and economic collapse follows, against a background of cynical opportunism where unscrupulous individuals and organisations seek to turn the disaster to their advantage. The plague is eventually over and it's time to rebuild, but there are some who try to thwart this. It's up to a group of young people to re-assert civilised values and establish a way forward.
