About The Detective Hiroshi Series
Detective Hiroshi is a reluctant detective who can’t stand crime scenes. He’s been hired into the homicide division of the Tokyo Police Agency through a connection from an old family friend. His English skills after years studying abroad and his accounting savvy,as an international CPA help him solve murder cases connected to foreigners and to money, which in Tokyo are increasingly common. With the help of his mentor, the old-school Takamatsu, and an ex-sumo wrestler turned detective Sakaguchi, Hiroshi scours Tokyo’s hidden alleys, deserted backways, bureaucratic obstructions and political power plays to find out just what the global economy does when it’s out of sight. In between it all, they don’t mind some ramen or yakitori and a couple glasses of sake to wash away the day.
