About The al-Andalus trilogy
Set in 10th century Moorish Spain, the series covers the decline of the Omayyad empire from its Golden Age to its final collapse in 1013 AD. There are two parallels stories running through the series, the political events and the story of a humble family of artisans. In both there is intrigue, conspiracy and murder, as well as friendship, romance and family loyalty.
