About TERRI KARSTEN
Terri Karsten was born in California and educated in the Midwest. She landed in Minnesota in 1981, where she fell in love with the river, the bluffs, and the people. After retiring from teaching English, she has focused on writing historical fiction. Her novels include A Necessary Death (2025) and A Mistake of Consequence (2015). Terri has both fiction and non-fiction publication credits in a variety of magazines, newspapers, and encyclopedias, including Killer Nashville, The Winona Daily News, and An Encyclopedia of Women’s History, as well as anthologies such as Under a Brass Moon, and Rattlesnake Valley Sampler.
