About Scott Porter
Scott Porter grew up in a small town in Kansas. He started writing early, and kept at it—short stories, poems, songs, skits, plays. These just went as far as family and friends and church and community, though.
Along the way, he married and raised a family, worked forty years in the aircraft industry, and lived in some pretty places, including Finland and Switzerland and various spots around the U.S. Now he makes his home in Wichita, Kansas, with his wife and a big yellow dog named Shadrack.
With the Planet Clerk series, he wants to share with the world the small, out-of-the-way planet, Calema. He hopes he can make it as complete and solid and beautiful to the reader as it is to him.
