About Phillip Dunn
Phillip Dunn survived incarnations as an artist, truck driver, business owner, movie director, computer programmer (back when computers took up the whole room,) ornithologist research assistant and ice cream man, selling from ice cream trucks in three different states. As a young man he hitch-hiked across country – a lot. At age 50 he started a master’s degree program at Smith College and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and spent the bulk of the next two decades as Program Director of the Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery Program for the South Texas Veteran’s Healthcare System, serving Veterans diagnosed primarily with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression with psychosis. He lives in the Texas Hill Country with his wife, Kelly. Now retired, this is his first novel.
