Melanie Simpson may be fifteen years old, but destiny doesn’t recognize age. It has bestowed upon her a quest to find the Orb, a mysterious device given to her father by a dying alien—and that quest is far from over.

When Melanie discovers an old film showing her father with the Orb at the Carnac Stones in France, she learns he experienced a strange vision there. But what did he see? And how is it connected to her? Melanie knows the answers are hidden within the ancient stones.
Melanie’s journey takes her to England with her grandmother, under the guise of visiting her ancestral home. But once there, she makes it to the Carnac Stones, and uncovers a deeper lineage tied to a buried dolmen, revealing her connection to the Sky People and the three stars of Orion’s Belt.

We also learn more about what happened in 1947 to Roger and Gloria, Melanie’s parents—their connection to the Roswell UFO crash, the government’s relentless harassment of them because of Roger’s discovery there, and the heavy burden he carried to protect the Orb at all costs. And finally, the truth around the loss of their first child.

Will the secrets of the past consume Melanie’s future? Or, will Melanie finally unlock her true destiny at the Stones of Carnac?
